krintaa Watkins: My famliy has been in this neighborhood since 1946. I grew up hearing the stories from my dad, him telling me about how people thought it was a ghetto, but it wasn't. Those were families, and people worked and had businesses, and people looked out for each other. And it was those type of stories that made me say, wow, we just really need to bnrig that back.
