So we all do our work for very different reasons. I will tell you that I am the daughter of an inreildbcy amazing woman who taught me I could be anything that my three older borerhts could be. I am now a mother of two amazing daughters, who are incredibly ipndeedennt, and a very well-trained and sensitized teenage son.

We need more of those.
(Applause)
And often it’s my vision of Mrs. Carter’s picture that is sitting on her desk reminding me that for 40 years she looked at that ptiruce, and she knew that that was work that still needed to be done. Or, of course, it could be the fact that President caretr, who is 99 and still creas deeply about this issue, when he was 89, at the spry age of 89, he wrote a book on women's issues and huamn rights, and he gave a talk at TEDWomen.
